Location & Transport

By plane or train: Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP) or Naples Central Railway Station. From the airport respectively the central station take a taxi to the harbour of Molo Beverello  or to the Mergellina Port. Please note that there is a fix tariff list which should be exposed in the vehicle. A taxi ride from the airport to the Molo Beverello costs for example around € 20,00. Once arrived in Ischia pick the bus “CD”, “CS” or “1” to S.Angelo/Cava Grado. 90 minutes tickets can be bought in bars and “Sali e tabacchi” shops.

By car: Rome-Naples-Salerno motorway (Exit “Scali Marittimi”) then follow the indications for Molo Beverello. Alternatively, come off the motorway onto the Naples ring road (tangenziale) and proceed towards Pozzuoli until you get to the Via Campana junction. Then follow the signs for the Pozzuoli Port. (Due to the traffic situation in Naples, we suggest to embark in Pozzuoli). Once on the island follow the indications to Forio – S.Angelo.
 
Once you have reached the embarkation points in Naples, it takes 40 minutes to get to Ischia by hydrofoil (Molo Beverello or Mergelina), around 1 h by ferry from Pozzuoli (to Casamicciola or Ischia Porto) and 1 hour and 35 minutes by ferry from Molo Beverello.
